Five today:

Mind Hacks is five years old today. The first post announced the arrival of the Mind Hacks book and the two posts the next day are still some of the best articles on the site.

I make this the 3,453rd post so I hope some of them have been of interest to you.

Vaughan.

Vaughan, this is unquestionably one of the best science blogs out there. Top five, definitely. It's interesting, astute, well-written - a fine exemplar of the best that blogging can offer. Five more years, please!

I found the blog after reading the book and both are greatly appreciated. I love the blog and love seeing old assumptions about human behavior scrutinized. I also love seeing you give the skeptical stink eye to journalists writing alarmist psychology and brain science stories in popular media. Keep up the great work. We may not be vocal here but we are definitely devout readers. :)

I hope you'll keep writing for at least five more years! I love the way you write about brain science and psychology in such a humourous, passionate and intelligent way.

Congratulations on the success of your blog. I wish you and it continued good fortune in the years ahead.

People like you who present psychology in the manner you have are why I chose to major in this field.

Will there be a "best of"? Maybe user/admin voted and/or something like unique views or linked to?
